How does it work?

We will carry out a comprehensive assessment of the structure, alignment and function of your body, paying particular attention to the feet, ankles, legs, thighs, hips and lower back.

Using video gait analysis, slow motion movements are captured and a digital foot scanner records foot pressure data and body function, during standing, walking, and running.

Treatment

Treatment is focused on improving movement patterns with a whole-body approach, restoring joint alignment and muscle function. Utilising hands on techniques, joint mobilisation and manipulation, muscle function corrections, footwear guidance, corrective functional exercise and injury rehab. In some instances foot Orthotics may be used if required and Dean incorporates a minimalistic technique, working closely with the lab to create devices that make small changes encouraging the body to reestablish balance and optimal function.

Custom fit Orthotics

Poor foot function more often than not plays a role in movement and postural dysfunction leading to pain in your feet, knees, hips, or back. Think of your feet like the keyboard of a computer. Input as each foot interacts with the ground sends a series of messages throughout the complex musculoskeletal system. Your feet tell the body how to move. But what happens when this system is dysfunctioning in some way?
