Ear wax removal (Microsuction)

Microsuction

Quick, easy, and safe comfortable method of earwax removal

What is Microsuction?

Wax removal via Microsuction is one of the safest and most comfortable method of earwax removal, with no liquids being used, there is no fuss or mess during the procedure. The fact that the ear canal is being observed throughout the process using a high-powered microscope and a small, very thin, steel wand type fitting attached to a suction pipe, makes it an exceptionally safe procedure.

A typical session

The procedure is quick, easy, and safe. Typically, both ears can be treated within 30 minutes. In general, the procedure is not painful at all, although it can be somewhat noisy. The skin inside the ear canal is sensitive so it is important to stay still when asked to do so.

What should I do before the appointment?

Use olive oil drops (Earol Olive Oil Spray 10ml) for at least 5 days before the appointment to soften any wax build-up to make it easier to remove.
